Now that Jada's painting has been finished I'll start on Leah. the picture of here for reference is much different. Totally different facial expression and lighting. ( [link] ). Both photos remain my favorite photos of them. Leah's light and personality really shines. I hope i'm able to bring that out in my painting..

Life beyond that (on the superficial level) remains unchanging. Get up, get the girls ready for school, clean the house, go get the girls from school, cook dinner. During the weekends it doesn't change much besides taking them to and from school and finding fun activities for them. I hope some change is up and coming.. Sometimes, boring is good. It's better than many other things i could name. I've never liked letting life pass me by, though.. I'd like to get my hands dirty again, i think.
